• Adjust the grind setting with a turn of the wood adjusting wheel — clockwise for a finer ground and counterclockwise for a coarser grind; To grind, turn the mill upside down and hold by the wood rim while rotating the body clockwise
• To fill from the top, remove the wood adjusting wheel and wood rim, and unscrew the grinding mechanism; Stoneware body is dishwasher safe, allow to dry thoroughly before refilling
• Spot clean wood parts with a damp cloth, and allow to dry thoroughly before refilling
• To clean the grinding mechanism, finely grind about 2 tablespoons of salt and discard, followed by grinding about 1 tablespoon peppercorns and discard
